Winter Carnival 2026

Friday, February 6th, 5:00pm-8:30pm

Saturday, February 7th, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Celebrate the season at the 11th Annual Peacham Winter Carnival! Try a new winter activity, join a guided nature hike, watch a blacksmith demonstration, or get tips at the Women’s Game of Logging workshop. Other outdoor activities include horse-drawn wagon rides, cross country skiing, ice skating, fat biking, snowshoeing, snow pile play, and the much anticipated iKIDarod sledding obstacle course. There are indoor activities too such as live music, a puzzle contest, pickleball, face painting and crafts.

Most of the activities are free. There will be food for purchase including a pancake breakfast, mac and cheese lunch, and food served all day at the Peacham Cafe. Events take place around the village. Donations will be gladly accepted with the purchase of a carnival sticker featuring local children’s art.

The Winter Carnival kicks off Friday evening with three indoor events: live music and food at the Peacham Café, Game Night at the Peacham Library, and a Paint and Sip at Peacham Elementary School. Enjoy hot cocoa while painting wintery scenes at the school, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Cost is $25 per adult and $10 for children. RSVP requested to Michelle Pomeroy (see flyer below for email). The Peacham Cafe will be open for dinner with live music starting at 5:00pm, featuring local musical talent, Frank Miller and Chris Danielson, who will perform old and new tunes on fiddle and guitar. Enjoy board games and hot cocoa at the Peacham Library from 6:30pm-8pm.
