Resources for flood recovery assistance:

-Please report all flood damage to Vermont 211. Calls into 211 help determine FEMA sites and individual assistance, therefore calling in any and all (small to large) flood damage is helpful.

-Funding is available for flood relief through the Peacham Emergency Relief Fund.  Applications can be found here and are due back by August 15th.

-FEMA/the president has not approved Individual Assistance (IA) for our area yet.  If an IA declaration is made, individuals will be able to apply for assistance directly from FEMA.  As soon as we hear this information, we will send a follow-up email through the Town website.

-For people who don’t have private insurance and are facing a major personal financial burden to repair, there may be Small Business Administration Loans available.

-Please email townclerk@peacham.org if you have any flood debris.  The town is coordinating with the Department of Environmental Conservation to assist with debris removal.

-Information for farmers needing assistance recovering from flooding can be found on the NRCS website.

-Water test kits are available in the Town Clerk’s Office.
