Reopening Vermont
Vermont Forward is the state’s plan for a phased return to unrestricted travel, business operations, and event gatherings. The Plan uses vaccination milestones to ensure a safe easing of personal restrictions and continued reopening of the state’s economy
Governor Phil Scott announced last week that COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted once 80% of eligible Vermonters have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
As of Wednesday, 77.6% of eligible Vermonters have received vaccines. We are very close to the 80% goal! The Vermont Department of Health is making it easier than ever to get vaccinated. In addition to making an appointment for a shot, you can find walk-in clinics around the state. And many of the clinics offer the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine which will require no follow up visit. Do your part to keep yourself, your friends and family safe and to help Vermont reopen!
