This week-end’s Fireworks extravaganza was such an uplifting joy for so many of our citizens and families! We all needed the psychological lift amidst the gloom of the pandemic that is on all our minds.
It seems clear that Peacham would like to make this a new addition to our treasured July 4th traditions, so I am encouraging you, while enthusiasm is still high, to contribute to the Fireworks fund budget for 2021. I will call our new friends at Northstar Fireworks this week to reserve a date, and hope we raise enough to make it a reality a year from now when hopefully we will be past this troubling year of anxiety and disease.
If you’d like to ensure next year’s ‘show’ you can send checks to the Town of Peacham, with the memo line reading: “for Fireworks”.
Thank you all for helping make this years shortened programs: the Fireworks, the Fire Department home visits, and the wonderful Children’s Bicycle Parade such uplifting events. And “Thank You” to all the talented volunteers for their contributions to our success …
